Austbrokers Premier Pty Ltd are General Insurance Brokers and were formed in 1985 to represent and service clients who were experiencing difficulty and inconvenience in obtaining a satisfactory level of professional and personalised insurance service. The Company has now grown to be one of the largest privately owned insurance brokerages in Queensland and one of the largest independent and progressive insurance broking firms in Australia, employing 30 experienced brokers and support staff.

We now form part of the Austbroker Holdings Group, Austbroker Holdings Ltd, a public listed company. Our transition to the Austbroker Group provides us with growth opportunities, market leading products, solid security and continuity for our clients and staff.

Our Clients

The company currently manages the insurance affairs of approximately 4,500 clients and enjoys the mandate as the recommended insurance broker for a number of Industry Associations and Organisations including the appointment to Qld Shopfitters Association and others.

We also enjoy a major presence in the timber industry, including forestry contractors, saw-milling and timber product manufacturers and merchants. Our client base extends through industrial, commercial, professional and domestic accounts and ranges from SME’s to some of Queensland’s largest private companies.

We have an excellent working relationship (including on-line access) with many APRA (licensed approved) insurers and where necessary, we utilise the international insurers including London markets.
